I would have guessed higher to open as well but since we didn’t cover this week because Lane was loaded up on the herd and the spread I can understand.

Speaking of lines, I’d love for Walty to come on here and talk about his emotional state with 20 seconds left in that game last week! 

La Tech has a bunch of close games on their record, with several 1-point decisions and an OT game.  The only team to blow them out was Miss St.  The home team usually gets you about 3 points, so 5.5 might sound low but is probably kind of realistic with a team who can look pretty good (1 point win against WKU and 1 point loss to South Carolina).  This team could easily have 2 or 3 more wins, and they will be up for this game.  Everybody is now getting hyped to stop FAU - that is a good thing.
