Good/bad/undecided? Was just curious where they are better or worse than what you initially thought?
Yes, I'm trying to remain relevant and generate discussion. Trying to continue learning about my adopted Owls. haha
Speaking of which, what's the FAU catch phrase?
Ya know, "Roll Tide!" "War Eagle!" "Boomer Sooner!"
Oh, and what is your prognostication for the Owls in conference?

No change for me…
9-3 with some help…otherwise 8-4.
UCF will be a 10+ point loss, and we will likely lose to UNT…others may think no, but UNT is clicking on ALL cylinders and we are going into that game with just four days of prep. Wow. Don't think it will hurt them as much…
Tossing another one in there for good measure…POSSIBLY MTSU…They might carve us up on D…You have to play a simple scheme against them and just let the guys tackle given all the little wrinkles they throw in and the speed as well…just like us.

If FAU gets to 9 wins, hard to think that is a letdown, even on the heels of last year's 11 wins. The Owls certainly won't sneak up on anybody now, and this schedule is at least 2 full games tougher (UCF vs Buffalo and key games on the road).

I'll be honest - my expectations are adjusting down somewhat from what i've seen so far. I knew duplicating what we did last year would not be automatic, but I've seen drop offs in some key areas that I feel are going to bite us in C USA play if they aren't corrected soon. Still early, but don't see any indications that we will dominate the conference like we did last year. Doesn't help that we have some real tough games on the road and now have a bullseye squarely on us with teams salivating for revenge. MTSU, Marshall, UNT and even our rival down south (yup, I said it) on the road – none of these games will be easy IMHO.Posted On: Sep 16th 2018, 8:54 PM #380882
Me too. I don't see how we beat anyone good with how bad our interior D line is. It's shocking considering all I heard was how they're great. Can we stop anyone good? I'm worried if we play anyone good they could run up the score on us. And I never thought or 2's and 3's would get obliterated by BCU.
