GAME THREAD: FAU @ UAB - January 3, 2019
A minute and a half into the game, and Sebree is hurt. He comes off the court in obvious pain, holding his left shoulder. Richardson Maitree enters for Sebree, who was questionable going into Illinois following an ankle injury.

The Blazers race out to a fast start at the Bartow Arena. Sebree is walking during the media timeout. He is in obvious discomfort, but remains with team on the bench instead of heading into the locker-room.

We're getting flashbacks of UAB's #Blockingham days. The Blazers already have two monstrous blocks to get the home crowd involved. Still, the Owls are weathering the storm as Adger leads the team with 7 points.

Forrest gets called for a Flagrant 1, as the 6'0" Freshman's elbow struck a defender's face. No ill intent there, just driving hard into the paint.
Weird how an Illinois player punched Forrest in the face last week, yet that wasn't even reviewed.
Bad news: UAB is still winning the battle down low. Blazers have 24 points in the paint and 3 blocks.

Adger kills a scary 6-1 Blazer run with a three-pointer, bringing the first half to the close. Owls aren't play *bad*, but aren't playing lights-out either.
Adger with a GH 13 points.

Game is starting to get away from the Owls. That's what happens when you see three Owl turnovers in the last two minutes, paired with the Blazers converting 6-7 from the field.
LET'S GO OWLS!
