The definition of clutch! Zach Schneider performed EXTREMELY well under the pressure of a 2-out, bases loaded situation but what else would you expect from the closer!

Some more notables from today's win:

- Ruff (4-0) went a career-long 7 2/3 innings and struck out a career-high 11 Panthers.

- The Owls had seven hits, with two each by Mitchell Hartigan and Pedro Pages. Hartigan has now reached base in 15 consecutive games, the highest amount by an Owl this year.

Our weekend pitching has really stepped up. Cant wait to see what they can do today. We need to put soon runs on the board early. Hartigan can swing the bat. Fun to watch

Conference USA seems to be down this year as a whole.

Nick Swan is pulled from the game and freshman Jon Jon Kostantis takes the mound. The Owls got into a bit of a sticky situation in the 3rd, but shut down the inning with a great double play.

It looks like it going to be another close game today! The Owls pitching has been a little shaky so far today, hopefully they get it straightened out as the game goes on.

The team had a great opportunity to make up some lost ground here but unfortunately couldn't make it happen. A strikeout from Hartigan and a fly-out from Urbaez shuts down the inning.
