But they aren't the only ones who will be hitting the road. With the Season about to get under way, The Owl's Nest extends an invitation to all members to share their game day experience while allowing the community to live vicariously through the moments you provide. Last year Smitty enlightened members and guests alike  with experience of his travels to Detroit  for the Motor City Bowl. This weekend, GrayOwl will be sharing some moments of his trip to Lincoln, Nebraska as the Owls take on the Cornhuskers for the season road opener.  GrayOwl and company have a very busy couple of days planned, as after the NU game, they will then drive 500 miles back to the Front Range of the Rockies for Colorado State at Colorado in Boulder Sunday night. He is pumped up for his trip to Lincoln.  Or should we say "lit up": He should be on the road now, and will check in later today.  More to come... 11:00AM Update: GrayOwl and the FAU Flag have landed at the Nebraska line. Not only do they grow their corn and football players big there, but their road signs as well:                                 Looks like some clouds in the background...let's Hope that changes for tommorow.
