Florida Atlantic University men’s soccer lost to Bowling Green (6-8-3, 3-3) on Saturday night 2-1.
The loss marks the end of the 2010 season, as the Owls failed to qualify for the Mid-America Tournament.
FAU (5-9-2, 2-4) fell behind early when Joey D'agostino scored for the Falcons in the in the 3rd minute of the match on a header.
Darnell King accounted for the Owls' lone score of the match in the 25th minute from 20 yards out off an assist from Lucas Simmons.
Bowling Green's Ryan Comiskey tallied the game winner in the 69th minute on a cross from Zach Lemke.
Florida Atlantic enjoyed an advantage in both shots (14-13), and shots on goal (4-3).
