Florida Atlantic's Alfred Morris has been listed as a candidate for the 2010 Doak Walker Award, which is presented annually to the nation's premier running back for accomplishments on the field, achievement in the classroom, and citizenship in the community.
During the 2009 football season, Morris rushed for 116.0 yards per game while leading the Sun Belt and achieving a 14th ranking nationally.
He was also amongst FAU's list of 200 student-athletes who earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the spring 2010 semester.
The recipient of the 2010 Doak Walker Award will be announced live on ESPN on Thursday, December 9th.
