Nick Neumann scored 9 points in the Owl's lone NCAA apperance in 2002.

As part of a recent move by Head Coach Mike Jarvis to further the FAU basketball family bond, a couple of former Owl players were on hand last Satuday during the contest versus Middle Tennessee.  One of these was Nick Neumann.  Neumann played for Sidney Green from 2000-2003 and enjoyed one of his best games as an Owl in the program's lone NCAA Tournament appearance against the University of Alabama back in 2002.  The Owls kept it close to the end and had the crowd cheering thier way as the underdog.

Nick hails from Stuart, Florida and has been playing professionally overseas for the last number of years.  We caught up with him at the game and here is what he had to say about the overseas experience, and the recent transitions the Florida Atlantic Men's Basketball Program has been undergoing:
