Alfred the Antidote, Part II

I don't know about you, but I have added something to my Sundays since the NFL began playing.

Call it the Alfred Watch, as in keeping track of what former FAU running back Alfred Morris is doing for Washington.

So far the rewards for the watch have been good -- 96 yards and 2 TDs in game one, 89 yards yesterday in a loss.

He has established himself as Washington's No. 1 running back, and is primed for a pretty decent rookie season.

We've covered this ground before, but Morris is easy to cheer for, since he is such a great kid.

And remember how he was the only bright spot on last year's team, and how he gained more than 1,000 yards despite every defense knowing he was the offense's only weapon.

This also diverts attention from the Owls, who are at Alabama this week. Yikes.
