FAU Football Lands Series With UCF
Florida Atlantic University's football team will face off with UCF in a home-and-home series beginning in 2018.
The Owls will travel to Orlando for a contest on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018. FAU will host the Knights on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019.
The two teams played previously in 2003. FAU, which was in its third season of collegiate football, took UCF to the closing seconds. An FAU would-be game winning pass fell just outside of the hands of the intended to give UCF the 33-29 victory. The game, played at the then Orlando Citrus Bowl, was a turning point for the young Owls who won their next 10 games, advanced to the NCAA Division 1-AA (FCS) Semi-Final game, which was played at Lockhart Stadium. FAU finished 11-3 in 2003.
Since that time, FAU has moved to FBS and plays in Conference USA, captured one title (The Sun Belt in 2007) and two bowl games (New Orleans and Motor City). Both universities have on-campus stadiums where the 2018 and 19 contests will be played.

Bethune was good too, but didn't have the same "clout" attached to it.
You would have thought that these were Bama fams reacting to signing a 1-1 deal with FAU.
I don't hate UCF I actully envy what there program has done in the last five years.
But man get a grip.
Man are you OK?
I mean, seriously, four or five quality posts in a row??
one interesting quote I did see
"Do not sleep on what Charlie Partridge is doing at FAU."
The record hasnt shown it yet but the improvement in recruiting is causing people to take notice.
Considering FAwho 6 year graduation rate is 41% while UCF is 68%; Which school can't graduate students?
Unfortunately FAwho is not due for beating but we will join the long list. When was FAwho's last bowl game ?
