Croney Goes 3-for-6 on the day
The FAU softball team won both of its games on Day one of the Miken Inivitational on Friday.

Rose Gressley threw a complete game shutout for her first win of the season.
FAU defeated Providence 2-0 in the nightcap. Tajaniece Goudeau drove in Kimberly Petrovich in the fifth inning to put the Owls ahead 1-0. Joshlyn Martinez led off the bottom of the sixth with a double and later scored on a Friar fielding error. Kathryn Stauffer scattered five hits for the shutout victory.
The Owls continue action in the Miken Invitational on Saturday when they play Loyola-Chicago in a rematch. Game time has been changed and will now be played at 2 p.m.
