Florida Atlantic Football added a playmaker to their offense earlier this week. Former Nicholls Wide Receiver and 3-star transfer Quincy Brown announced he would be spending his 5th season of collegiate football in Boca Raton.
The 6 ‘4 210 pound Saint Rose, Louisiana Native spent the last 2 seasons at Nicholls University where he played in 16 games across 2 years, recording 54 catches for 606 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Prior to transferring to Nicholls in the Spring of 2023, Brown played his freshman and sophomore seasons of CFB at TCU where he appeared in 10 games across 2 years, recording 15 catches for 152 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Coming out of Destrehan High School in Destrehan, Louisiana, Brown was a 4 star recruit per 247 Sports and had offers from Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida among others but opted to commit to TCU on December 16th 2020.
Prior to his freshman season, Gabe Brooks of 247 Sports graded Brown as a 4th-7th round NFL draft pick and compared him to Martavis Bryant, noting he has great size that he knows how to utilize.
“Tall, long, lean outside receiver with great height and a large catch radius. On the narrow side, so bulking potential may be limited but height and length are there. Go-up-and-get-it wideout with serious red-zone ball-winning ability,” Brooks said.
Brown will have a chance to start on the outside for the Owls and he becomes the 6th addition to the wide receiver room this offseason, joining portal additions JR Wilson, Easton Messer and Asaad Waseem, as well as freshman Jade Card, Mykel Calixte and Branden Hoch.
