The Owl's Nest
The Owl’s Nest is an independent Florida Atlantic University (FAU) fan site that was started in 2003 and has since grown to become the largest Owl fan community on the internet.
Founder Kamp "OG Owl" Rogers“ passed away in 2006 leaving administrative duties to Francois Rioux, who along with Rick Henderson has since continued to enhance, develop, and expand the community to over 1,600 members strong and growing.
The Owl's Nest reach is nationwide with its strength having been built on the merits of its loyal members - all of whom have come to enjoy the ability to share information while having their voice heard on matters surrounding FAU. Since it's inception, many changes have taken place.
Most importantly, the Owl’s Nest has become a leader in providing students, fans, alumni, and staff FAU news, information, and initiatives in a cutting edge media format while providing a point of open platform of discussion as well. As the community continues to grow, it will only strengthen the resolve for being the most visited site for FAU Sports News, and Discussion.
Anthem Sports, LLC
Since the onset of the Owl's Nest community the thirst for current news and information on FAU sport's programs and the university at large has grown. In 2008 the decision was made by Francois to establish Anthem Sports, LLC with the goal of bridging the information gap.
This move has merited the addition of a number of dedicated staff members that devote passion and energy towards providing Owl's Nest members and guests with a meaningful communication experience related to common interests.
At it's core, Anthem Sports, LLC represents a vision to unite and form partnerships with individuals that will help enable the offering of a unique and highly integrated internet based news product about FAU with an emphasis on it's sports programs.
