SunBelt to Conference USA in Basketball

Question that may have been addressed somewhere else on the forum I just have not seen it:

A lot of talk is made about the difference in the two conferences regarding bowl tie ins.  On that note, I have always thought the SunBelt only getting one team in the tournament (most of the time) due to winning the conference tournament was ridiculous…is this the same situation in CUSA?  Or does CUSA usually send 2-3 teams?

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

They said 1, sometimes 2 on the CUSA Board.

Re: SunBelt to Conference USA in Basketball

"V1.0 = Usually was 4
V2.0 = 1 (Basically it was memphis)
V3.0 = 2 (with potential for 3 at any given time.. but usually )
V3.5 = ? (right now I'd 1 possibly 2) - However, that being said we brought in what _should_ be stronger basketball teams compared to what's leaving. "

To add…

Men's hoops will be in good shape "transition" wise - compared to other sports who will hit another upgrade:

Baseball - significant upgrade
Women's Hoops - moderate upgrade
Men's Soccer - significant upgrade
Women's Soccer - moderate upgrade

Volleyball will catch a break with slightly lower overall competition in comparison to the Sun Belt.

Little confused here. What is this V1.0, V2.0 business about?
