Are there any rumors coming from players discontent with the current coach situation or other complaints from the team that could be causing poor performance?

They can not afford to spend money on a buyout.
Alumni often help in the buyouts, and that will not happen here!
Willie will be here for a while.
As for the players, they all like Willie as a coach. Not sure about all of the position coaches.
Band of Brothers may not be all that is it said to be.
Personally, I would have liked to see some players rotated in when things were not going well at the start of the 4th quarter. That certainly would have given the starters plenty of time to show if they had it or not.
Tronti QB, Wright WR, Posey WR, Dean RB, Boselli OL and Evan’s TE to name a few.
Now that our standards have been elevated we all expect more.

I thought the AAC was taking us largely because we are a big market and would commit more to athletics and facilities?
Well teams trying to compete don't keep crappy coaches around because they can't afford to fire them. Especially since his hire was already for lesser money since FSU is paying him so much to go away …
Willie Taggart is ruining our program. The standard has to be higher. We shouldn't be hoping to have winning seasons once every three years like we have in the last 15 seasons … (I think it's 5 winning seasons in 15 years )
We should be competing more and elevating ourselves.
6-6 and a crappy bowl slot shouldn't be a good season for us. That should be the bottom

I agree 100%. I think we as fans and alumni have seen enough. However, I think the calculus is different internally be it finances or whatever the case may be. Willie deserves to be relived at the end of this month but my point is, I think he gets one more year with a very short leash. We shouldn’t have dropped off this bad after Lane left

“TAGGART owes FAU $3 million if he leaves the school or is fired before Dec. 1, 2022. The buyout drops to $1 million if he leaves before Dec. 1, 2023 and $500,000 between Dec. 2, 2023-Dec. 31, 2024.“
Sounds like this idiot might owe us $3 mil if we fire him. If that’s the case, why wait an extra second? Can him and bring in Ken Briles

Found this interesting nugget as written by our own, Jake Elman. Jake can you elaborate?

That has to be wrong right ? I thought that he would owe if he leaves on his own. I was thinking the buyout drops 3 to 1 million if we wait until after next year
If the idiot signed that where he owes us because he's fired, then yeah fire him now. Seems too good to be true
