Willie Taggart and his staff fill a major need with the commitment from the number three rated junior college tight end in the country, Lou Dorsey.

Dorsey originally committed and attended Illinois in the class of 2017 out of Ribault high school in Jacksonville  Florida, where he had 22 catches and 395 yards as a true freshman. But off the field issues derailed the start of his sophomore season and he decided to transfer midway through.

The 2018 preseason Macky award watch list candidate ended up at Iowa Western community college where he committed to Memphis during the summer, but de-committed just before the start of the season.

Dorsey will look to help fill the shoes of Macky award winner Harrison Bryant, along with returning redshirt senior
John Raine and redshirt freshmen Rahmod Smith.

This is the 4th junior college player to join FAU football's 2020 class joining offensive linemen Eli Feilds, Sebastion Dolcine, and defensive linemen Alvin Dempsey.
