Here is some news about our rivals to the north and how, to me, they are copying nd honoring OUR stadium at FAU;

Since the closest beach to that place is awhile away…go ahead and pour some sand in your stadium  :Thinking:

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Like I said, trying to COPY FAU! Woo Hoo, GO OWLS! The ENTIRE concept is our Acura Deck with a sprinkling of sand and TRYING to be "Football in Paradise" but WE know where that is!

Hmmm not sure who this is geared toward. My guess is it will be popular the first season but once the novelty wears off not so much.  I wouldn't mind a pool in our stadium if it was for students, it could be a fun thing to do before the game SG could host a cookout or something and sell beers and have other games on the TV, then close the pool a few minutes before kickoff.  Also, make the pool available for other events.  I'd say the pool in Marlin's Park is a huge success, just getting "fans" to their seats is the issue.

lol

FAU ripped off our stadium after BHNS was already built.  You used literally the exact same builder with the exact same conceptual design.   And this deck design has been in the mix since BHNS was opened in 2007.

Want a cookie? Or will another basketball beat-down suffice?

How did FAU rip off a stadium they paid $70M for?
So what If it looks like UCF's stadium. Big deal! So what!

We actually did get some of the design from UCF's stadium. But don't tell our little friend here but we used a completely different architecture firm. And if we "ripped off" their stadium, then "their" architecture firm would've filled a suit against HKS. But that has yet to happen, and never will. Maybe because ours is much more beautiful than their gray bleacher filled trampoline of a stadium?

We have water fountains too!

I just think it is ridiculous to have a beach themed "anything" when you are over 60 miles away from it.
