Port St. Lucie Centennial's Giles signs with FAU
PORT ST. LUCIE — St. Lucie West Centennial running back Javaris Giles looks at Florida Atlantic's recruiting class and can't help but get excited.
Giles became one of 21 recruits expected to sign with the Owls on National Signing Day, filling out his national letter of intent in a ceremony Wednesday morning at Centennial.
"I think it's going to be the best recruiting class they've had overall," Giles said. "They've got a lot of good players coming in and a lot great players there now. They are talking about switching conferences if we do well this year, so hopefully we can do that and go into the Big East. That would be exciting."
