FAU Picked 4th in East in 2012-13 SBC Pre-Season Womens Basketball Coaches Poll

Highlights from FAU's release on Miller…

Florida Atlantic University junior forward Chenise Miller enters the 2012-13 season as one of the top players in the Sun Belt Conference…This was the highest preseason honor for a FAU women’s basketball player in SBC history.

“Chenise has proven to me that she belongs on the all-conference team,” said Kellie Lewis-Jay, FAU’s first-year head women’s basketball coach. “She is a player who never takes a play off and gives everything she has each minute she is on the court. I expect big things from Chenise this year.”

Miller garnered second-team all-conference last season while leading the team in scoring (10.6 ppg), rebounding (7.4 rpg) and blocked shots (24). The rebounding mark ranked seventh in the conference last year.
