Fletcher's Kalib Woods has committed to FAU according to Chris Nee's Twitter.
He becomes the second wide receiver pledged to the Owls' 2013 recruiting class joining Mandarin's Kamrin Solomon.
Woods was offered by recruiting coordinator Jeff Sims a few weeks ago, and chose FAU today over an offer from Bethune-Cookman.
Sims is expected to be at Woods' high school basketball game tonight, and the prospect says he plans on calling head coach Carl Pelini later this evening to inform him of the news.
He told me that he will be taking an official visit January 11th.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound wide receiver's mid-season highlights can be seen here.

“It means a lot,” said 6-foot-3, 180-pound receiver Kalib Woods, who ranks third in program history in receptions behind Andre Cooper and Lamar Scruggs.
Andre Cooper played for the 93' FSU National Championship team before the NFL, Lamar Scruggssigned with South Carolina.
Good company to be part of.

Very nice, looks like the next Dukes! Long body and arms, cartches the ball away from he body at the high point (qb makes him jump a lot!), long stride. Those short corners are gonna be in serious trouble!
Yes just like Dukes. I think that's what the coaches are targeting. Tall, receivers with big strides that can go up and get the ball while playing on the outside.

That and small REAL quick slot recievers who can just run away from LB's!
