A few weeks ago West Port (Ocala, Fla.) OT Delroy Baker shocked the recruiting community when he selected Indiana over the local Florida Gators. Baker, who was virtually unknown until this summer, fell in love with the Hoosiers and made it clear that his recruitment was over.
While many schools backed off their respective pitches, one program hasn't gone away. Late Tuesday night Baker Tweeted a screenshot of a Facebook conversation started by FIU offensive line coach Steve Shankweiler. In the message (which is pictured above) Shankweiler tells Baker to "get over it" and to "quit being dramatic."
Baker had previously wrote on his Facebook wall that he had made a personal decision to delete his account.
It appears some coaches just don't know the boundaries when it comes to recruiting.
