FAU hit 5-of-23 three-point attempts (21.7 percent). FIU hit 4-of-10 three-pointers (40 percent).
FAU was out-rebounded 45-36.
FAU made half of its FTs (9-of-17) and FIU was 9-of-17 (52.9 percent).
FAU led from the paint, 30-28 and played much better in the second half, cutting a game-high 28-point FIU lead to just 8 as the final buzzer sounded.
