FAU Set to Receive $625K From NCAA Payout

The NCAA Board of Governors (formerly the Executive Committee) has approved the liquidation of a NCAA Quasi-Endowment which will provide qualified institutions a payout according to the total number of scholarships they provide.
The payout is intended "for the direct benefit of the student-athlete and their academic success, life skills, career success, health and safety and student-athlete focused diversity and inclusion initiatives. Schools have discretion in using funds among these areas."
Florida Atlantic will receive the lowest payout in the state amongst institutions which are FBS status in football but still stands to pull in $625,000 in found revenue. The list of in state FBS recipients is below:
UF - $860K
FSU - $770K
UM - $705K
UCF - $717K
FIU - $701K
USF - $689K
FAU - $625K
