Every time coach needs someone to step up they do. That fact is the one thing that gives me hope for this team. When coach has all his player back, we are going to be tough to beat.  

We knew that was going to be a tough one on the road against a solid Marshall team.  We need to win the WKY game while that team is rebuilding and come back and beat the kitties at home on Wednesday and we’ll be back on track.

Let’s get a great crowd Wednesday for the kitties!

Go Owls!

Lots of bright spots from this game.  Amazing to see Mike Forrest drop 35 on the road, including 7 three pointers.  Forrest struggled with the three ball to begin the season.  Since he has switched from googles to contacts he is playing lights out.  Great to see the Blanche Ely alum continue to progress offensively. F Aleksandar Zecevic scored 13 points to go along with 10 rebounds.  Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. This was his best rebounding performance of the year.  As a team, FAU is improving with perimeter shooting.  The Owls made 11 three pointers. Free Throw shooting was an issue as the Owls went 13-21 from the line.  This must be cleaned up as many CUSA games come down to the final possession.
