Florida Atlantic Lane Kiffin and his staff hit the road last week - in a few parts of the country - while targeting on prospects for the 2020 and 2021 classes. FAUowlsnest.com has been able to confirm a number of these stops and offers.
Charlie Weis Jr. went all the way to Chicago Illinois, to visit Kenwood Academy to offer a pair of prospects in wideout Jaleel Payne and defensive back Donald Dillion.
" He was a great guy and his energy was ecstatic, Jaleel said of coach Weis Jr. "Can't wait to what it feels like to be on campus!''
Weis also offered 2020 Illinois prospects in offensive lineman Kevo Wesly, defensive back Samaj Brown and athlete Kendi Brown before making his way south to offer Missouri duel threat quarterback Mekhi Hagens (pictured above).
Clint Trickett went to Valdosta Georiga, to offer 2020 athlete Jahiem Bell and quarterback Tate Rodemaker.
Keyondo Husdon stayed relatively local, travelling a few hours up the east coast to Daytona's Mainland high school which has become a strong pipeline for the Owls over the past few years. While there, he offered 2020 athlete Taron Keith and 2021 outside linebacker Laron Davis.
Lane Kiffin kept to the immediate area, making a stop at Dillard high school to offer 2020 running back Patrick Bownen.
We'll keep tabs on these relationships and update accordingly as developments occur.
