FINAL:

FAU 41  Old Dominion 3

The Owls put up their best defensive performance all season - and since 2017 - while needing just one win to become post season eligible.

Unfortunately they may have to do it without Chris Robison.

We'll see how that plays out.

Check out his highlights at the first link:

FINAL:

FIU 17  MTSU 50

The Panthers are embarrassed in their nationally televised drubbing on the NFL Network.

FIU (4-4) actually led 7-0 late in the 1st, before the wheels fell off the (defensive) bus.

The Blue Raiders (3-5) had THREE players with over 100 yards in the affair.

Conversely, Florida International tried many different players, but saw just a 1.97 YPC mark with a 22 yard long backed out of the final tally of their 34 attempts.

FINAL:

LA Tech 42  UTEP 21

The Miners will have to win all of their remaining games (5) to get to six wins. Not happening.

After throwing a career-high 336 yards, setting a new school record with 432 yards of total offense, throwing three touchdowns and rushing for another, Charlotte sophomore QB Chris Reynolds has been named the C-USA Offensive Player of the Week.

The Defensive Player of the Week honor went to Marshall senior CB Kereon Merrell, who had 10 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble in the Thundering Herd’s victory over WKU.

The Special Teams Player of the Week award was given to Marshall senior K Justin Rohrwasser, who booted four field goals, including a career-long 53-yard game-winner as time expired in the Mean Green’s win over WKU.

C-USA Football Players of the Week are voted on by a panel of the league’s media.
