Received an offer from FAU TE Coach Jaron Fairman on April 30, 2020, Ford will bring size and depth to a depleted position group.

A triple letterman, Ford stars St. Pauls football, basketball, and track programs.

Ford scored 3 touchdowns in the St. Paul's 8-3 campaign in 2019, averaging 20.6 yards per catch.

Ford has been a priority for a long time for this staff.

A lot of credit goes to tight ends coach Jordan Fairman and offensive grad assistant Frank Diaz for this one.

"Coach Diaz has a ton of energy,'' Ford Told FAUowlsnest

Also, as fans could imagine having Harrison Byrant win the Mackey was a major recruiting tool in landing Ford.

Three Star Tight end Willam Ford announced he is re-opening up his commitment.

The North Carolina native committed to FAU back in July.

FAU still has 24 commits in the 2021 class and Nebraska transfer Keyshawn Greene.

Expect more shuffling of the class as signing day nears.

WHY would a TE agree to play here with the way TE's are ignored here now! How many catches do they have TOTAL this year???

It could be how they are playing.

There are other factors but Peterson and Iriving have graded out poorly in blocking which has caused FAU to try and spread teams out more.

Having someone like Bryant lineup in the slot is a benefit we might not have for a while.

FAU could always be in 12 personnel and not lose any threat of the passing game.

HUGGGGGGEEEEEE advantage in play calling.

This is true Shane but again, after 7 games, it "should" be getting better.
