The final game of Skip Holtz's tenure as Bulldog's head coach will go down as a loss to the pesky Owls (4-8, 3-5).
LA Tech (3-9, 2-6) led 31-21 with just 4:54 to play in the game and had a chance to answer the Owls' surge late but to no avail.

The Mean Green (6-6, 5-3) pull off a 30 point upset of the Roadrunners (11-1, 7-0) to cross the Bowl eligibility line.
UTSA could fall out of the top 25 the the loss, but should still take the league's best Bowl bid.

WKU DE DeAngelo Malone took home Defensive Player of the Week honors following his impactful play on Saturday, as WKU clinched the East Division with a win at Marshall. Malone recorded seven stops, 2.5 tackles-for-loss, a pair of sacks and a key forced fumble.
WKU K Brayden Narveson was named C-USA Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season, after he made all four field goal attempts (53, 46, 41 and 39 yards), while also making all five extra points in the Hilltoppers’ win at Marshall.
