Touted MTSU Portal Transfer OL Dorian Hinton Commits to FAU Football

Offensive coordinator Brent Dearmon will have a familiar face along the line as he is set to reunite with former Blue Raider Dorian Hinton.

Hailing from Naples High School, Hinton was named to the C-USA All-Freshman team in 2020 after breaking into the starting lineup for six contests at Middle Tennessee.

He would expand his role in 2021 seeing time in 10 games with nine starts on the line where he saw 569 total snaps and graded out a winner six times.

The big man visited the Boca Raton campus officially for the weekend of FAU Football's highly successful 2022 Junior Day and gave his pledge shortly thereafter while choosing to remain silent on his decision until a later date.

Hinton also received high interest from Oklahoma State after entering the portal.

He is currently living on campus and will participate in the Owls' summer work-out program.

My goodness. What a tremendous get. FBS starting experience is not easy to come by on the o-line!

Also, amazing of you to hold this for the kid when you could have broke the news way earlier (March apparently).

Things are looking good on the offensive side of the ball for 2022.
