The bats continue to roll for the Owls today thanks to a sac fly from Schanuel and this double to right field from Goldstein to have the score at 7-7 to start the 6th!

The Owls are BACK UP by 3 runs entering the 8th inning thanks to Goldstein's CRUCIAL line down right field! And don't mind the Bulldog dugout getting heated by the play; they're just mad their bullpen is blowing it. 😉

Coach Mac will be hitting the recruiting trail hard for at least three new arms for next season.

Very happy we got that one, nearly let it slip away!

If the tournament started right now we would be facing WKU.

After being swept by them, that would be very good.

Still three to go though, so we'll see!

Wegielnik was once again dominant in the late innings for the Owls as he earns Pitcher of the Week honors for the second consecutive week. The redshirt junior grabbed the final two outs in Friday’s win over LA Tech and went on to hurl a career-high 5.2 innings on Saturday in their 16-inning affair. Wegielnik combined for 6.1 innings pitched on the weekend allowing no runs on just two hits and fanned six. In his last 28.2 innings of work, he has not allowed an earned run.
