North Texas makes their hire:

North Texas announced Tuesday that it has hired Eric Morris as its next head coach. A Texas native, Morris most recently was the offensive coordinator at Washington State.

Before his season at WSU, Morris had a 24-18 record in four seasons as the head coach at Incarnate Word, an FCS program in San Antonio. At UIW, Morris was twice named the Southland Conference Coach of the Year and three of his teams finished in the top 10 nationally in total offense.
