One of the Owls most sought after prospects from the January 31st weekend visitors list is bringing his talents to Boca Raton.

Previously committed to Arkansas State, corner back Michael Boone, out of Tampa Bay, will stay in the Sunshine State.

A fast and physical corner, Boone has garnered a lot of attention down the stretch and holds over a dozen offers, with some being at the P5 level in the likes of Syracuse, Iowa State, and Kansas State all of which were all reported to have interest.

Fellow C-USA programs Marshall, Western Kentucky and MTSU all offered Boone as well.

Boone runs an impressive 4.4 40 yard dash and has registered 10.99 mark in the 100 meter as well. He could help fill an immediate need in the FAU secondary.
