Breaking: Auburn OL Kamaar Bell Transfers to FAU Football

Post

FAU has added another huge body in the trenches today in Auburn offensive guard transfer Kamaar Bell.

At 6-2' 325 lbs, Bell was a three-star product out of Colquitt County, Georgia, in 2019 and was a top 50 rated offensive guard in the country with multiple Power Five offers.

Bell (photo center) redshirted his freshman year and participated in one game with Auburn in 2020.

In a common theme with FAU's recent transfers, Bell was recruited heavily by head coach Willie Taggart and current FAU assistant Raymond Woodie while at Florida State.

Bell is the second offensive lineman transfer the Owls' have taken in the 2021 class, joining Andrew Boselli, who joined the FAU roster in the spring after leaving Florida State.

With all five starters from the 2020 season returning along with multiple experienced reserves, FAU's offensive line looks to be one of the strongest and deepest positions on the team heading into the 2021 season.

Per the NCAA new transfer rule, Bell will be immediately eligible to play and will have four years of eligibility left if he chooses to take a "Covid wavier'' at the end of his senior season.

Wow ! With our line , a qb should feel comfortable to transfer in. Any qb. Even one 50 miles south of us.

Our online returns all five starters and 2-3 could lose their job.

That is big-time competition.

Hopefully they can keep Malcom, Larry, Johnny and James healthy all year! Also, potentially Kosi? 🤔
