No Juco wants to go and compete for a starting spot when you only have 2 yrs of eligibility...Makes a lot of sense to come here with a new coach who has no ties and no favorites to play...

Good call, that actually makes a lot of sense. I'll take it. hahah. Some of these recruits look REALLY good. However, I still feel as if FIU is out recruiting us in some facets.

Let's just hope these recruits:
- make it to our campus hahah
- remain eligible for the full two years
- do not start problems as some of them did at their previous schools (this is not likely as once a player has lost so much, he will likely do anything to get it all back)

NJOWL, I agree with you (last I saw they had 28 verbals and 12 were 3 stars) but at least we have DRAMATICALLY narrowed the gap with little time to do that in. GREAT job by Coach P and staff!
From what I can see, other than FIU and NT, we are probably about 3rd in conference in recruiting now. WAY better than DEAD LAST the past two years. And finally, LOTS of these guys (especially the JUCO transfers) are ready to step in and start or at minimum heavily contribute next year.

Are you going by Rivals rankings? According to them we are 2nd.

Also, taking a second look at it, most of our high school recruits have offers from at LEAST 2-3 other D1 FBS schools. Let alone the fact that most of our JUCO recruits are being recruited by the likes of the big time programs including schools in the PAC12 and ACC (to name a few).

Looking at FIU's recruits, many of them have no other D1 offers but they have "interest" from some big time schools. That leads me to believe that their rating have been inflated (by who I do not know).

In summation, I put more stock into the evaluations of the coaches over those that work for rivals. If you would go by this scheme of ranking players, then our recruits actually top the Sun Belt.

How do you see where rivals has us ranked? Can you provide a link? I've been trying to find it but can't figure out how

Hay……This FAU Recuruiting stuff is starting to be really fun!!!!!!!!  Buy they way, I want to thank everyone on the board for the kind reception the FAU fans have given to me and other Husker fans that are now FAU fans. You all have made this FUN!
