Yeah that was my initial thought as well 

Ended up signing at MTSU!!! Is it just me or is FAU/Deerfield Beach just too close to home for most recruits.

Ok, from what I know about Marcus Lafrance and FAU is it was mutual. Dwight Toombs and EJ Jackson were higher in FAU's board.

Deerfield Beach High School is a bit of an illusion to put it nicely.
They had 5 kids sign yesterday and not a single one stayed in state.  They do have one UCF commit who did not sign yesterday who now holds an offer from us.
It has been "rumored"  that the Deerfield coach does a good job of making people think his kids have a ton of offers and everyone wants them. It has appeared the instate coaches are up on the jig.

Thought that was the case. Looking at the other mtsu commits, he is just about the only one listed who has other fbs offers.
