I'm surprised we didn't look for many skilled positions this season - no LBs, CBs or TEs

Ja"Maquis Johnson is going to start ar linebacker at FAU.

We took 5 last year and you also have to remember under Leavitt's 3-4 hybrid scheme a couple of the defensive ends who are committed will play in the stand up LB/end hybrid role.

Good news at tight end could be coming soon.

I think I speak for all the old guys on this blog when I say this. Watching the evolution of oc40 into Shane  has been enjoyable. To be honest, a few years ago , oc40 was a bit harsh. Today Shane makes a statement and backs it with reason.  I look forward to your posts because they are factual. As for early leaking, it's great to be the first to put out info. But earning the respect of the head coach and the ad is more important. Because the next time there is big news,  you will be the first they call. Keep doing what your doing .

Just go another coach Taggart tweet. I'm very happy with the job he is doing. Without ever playing a game, day made the right choice with Willie. Most of my fsu  friends are negative . I just smile and don't say a word. Go Owls.

All I know is it is supposed to mean good news! Any news on Malachi Wideman the 4* WR who decommitted from FSU and do we really have a shot at him still???

Getting close to signing day. One of my favorite days. Then the start of baseball. Another favorite.

Wideman never decommitted from FSU, he just didn't sign on early signing day as expected and has taken several visits to other schools. No one is sure where he will end up but it is very unlikely that it will be Boca.  Here is an excerpt from a 247sports.com article from earlier today.

4-Star WR Malachi Wideman — Although he’s committed, Wideman has FSU fans sweating it out as he’s taken three official visits in the month of January. In December, Wideman took officials to Washington State and Florida State, but after declining to sign early, Wideman booked trips to Oregon, Tennessee and Ole Miss in January. Wideman has not tipped his hand at all, declining all interviews since leaving FSU’s campus in December. He’ll make a final decision on Signing Day between FSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Oregon.
