Hope he lands on his feet somewhere. I was impressed that he gave us such an early committment and seemed to be a pretty solid recruit. I also liked the fact that he was a Georgia recruit. I believe he may have had an offer from Boston College so you know there were some BCS schools interested in him. Good luck to him.
From what I read, WKU had a lot of interest in him
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

While sorry that it happened, the new Coach has to pick skill sets he wants and that includes the current roster too. After all, athletic schollys are only one year deals, subject to annual review and renewing or not at the discretion of the Coach and Athletic Dept. for athletic performance, discipline, academic issues or basically anything, just like a real job with an annual contract.
I have not heard of any current players not being renewed for next year yet however.

It's a double standard. Recruits do it to schools all the time, that's ok, but when a school does it to a recruit… what! How can you do such a dispicable thing?
+1!

While each party can "rescind" you have to feel for these kids that get their offers revoked. Getting into college with a scholarship can be a life changing event. On the flip side the university will not be falter if football players end up going elsewhere. I hope TJ lands on his feet at a good program.
I feel the same way on this issue. Not expecting 17 and 18 year old kids to be a little flighty when making a decision this big isn't reasonable.
Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Thats what happened with Rusty Smith. His only offer was UAB and they pulled his offer. Then FAU found him.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.
