2022 FAU Football Preseason Camp


And so it begins tomorrow night in a rare evening session, and will also be the earliest start for the Owls as a program.

Looking forward to getting back out there for some photos and some recordings.

Per a staff source, Owl Big man on the defensive line Evan Anderson has lost ~ 50 pounds since his inaugural campaign.

Guy is looking fantastic heading into camp:



He may be a little short for some NFL teams, but me thinks there is a pro opportunity looming down the line given his mobility.

As for now, with the addition of Keem Green, he will have even more opportunity to shine as the double team option will be reduced for opposing schemes.

Friday, Aug. 5 – 2:00 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 8 – 10:00 am.

Tuesday, Aug. 9 – 10:00 a.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 10 – 10:00 a.m.

Friday, Aug. 12, 2:30 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 15 – 10:00 am.

Staff and players from today's C-USA Media Day have all arrived safely back in Boca Raton.

After an opening pep-talk from C.L. Shepard in the team meeting room, the Owls are on now on the field for Day 1 of Fall camp.

The season is officially underway!

Quick note on scheduling:

The Owls are running split sessions for the first two days of camp.

Last night was the first, with the younger players going then the upper classmen.

The same will happen today.

Viewing window is the younger players.

On Saturday the two groups will return to combined sessions.

First five sessions will be combination of helmets only and helmets & uppers.

Session six:

FULL PADS.

 

Incoming SC Transfer DT Keem Green was running with the first session today…my money is on that being strictly due to being a newcomer.
