That picture is without doubt the best anyone has come up with. It goes back to the OG era.
It needs to stay relavent. It’s up there with owl fingers.

FAU - THE REAL SLEEPING GIANT

Breaking news…. Riles, Davis, Franklin all had the same glowing articles written about them. The key point here is former 5 star recruit. I know I know, we’ve had so much luck with OL transfers from the SEC.

Riles was a 3* (87.5)…

Davis 4* (96.4)…

Franklin 3* (88.5)…

Ashley is the only 5* (98.7)…

Just to make sure we're talking apples to apples.

I assume he has to sit out a season. What are the odds he ever plays a down for FAU?

And what is up with the JUCO WR's actually committing, signing, qualifying, registering, showing up AND THEN WALKING before playing a down???? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? Does anyone have any info on this serious issue?

For Ashley, looks like he already redshirted his first year, then saw action in games last year before taking some time away from the team before ultimately deciding to enroll in classes in January.  From a football perspective, it would certainly seem he will have to sit out 2019 and then play as a RS Junior in 2020.  Is that right?

And maybe should be a different topic, but what year will Emmons be? He played as a true FR at Alabama, transferred and played a year of JuCo, then sat out what I would assume would be a RS year.  So is he going to be a JR in 2019?

Transfers have not been a huge factor for the most part, but just trying to figure out best-case how long we ***might*** have some of these guys who were so highly recruited coming out of high school.

JUCO.

I have said repeatedly that they mostly do not work out.

Many have major issues coming out of high school and a year of college with very little support in the middle of nowhere typically does not prepare them for big-time college football.

Go look at Pelini's classes and for every Bryant, there are 3 guys who you have never heard because they never played a down.

It's why out of 33 signees Lane only took three this cycle.

With the popularity of the transfer portal and their NCAA making it a tad easier to play right away expect less and fewer schools to touch JUCO.

Unless there is something we do not know about he will have to sit a year and will have two years after that.

Ashley is transferring because he struggled to find the field at Auburn.

He was a highly rated player coming out, but played at like 3-4 different high schools and never has really settled down.

I am more confident in transfers than any JUCO players.
