I agree, we are missing the mark here and there is a shift.  If FIU had our somewhat few years of success they would bein the AAC not us. We hate on them but they beat Miami years ago, they have a name to their stadium, they are being mentioned on Gameday, they show of cool jerys and were trending last year becuse of it.

Our social media is nonexistent, yes throwback look seems a bit lazy to me. Its the same older blue uni with the older Adidas logo, other schools are getting new unis with the new Adidas logo. I feel we have regressed, this game might not be pretty.  Our offense is worst than a pop warner team.  We lack identity, the play calling is bad, and the players just seem not interested and I can see a lot of them bouncing.  

Another thing the American is going to get raided again folks, are we ready to play crappy MTSU and Marshall again where they can beat us down more once again.  USF will get the call if the PAC12 looks way east, we are missing the mark to get to the next level.

We may be left in the American to rot, the moves are happening.  Does Mr. White have his phone ready, I bet not.
Memphis, UTSA, USF, Tulane and maybe even Rice maybe vetted already. They will jump in a heartbeat,  once they leave this conference will be crap, but some of us are ok with that.  We should be ahead of the curve already, Kiffin and May got us recognition, what are we doing with it.

All of these are valid points but the main thing about us going to the American over staying in CUSA is that sweet media deal in which we get paid millions of dollars more per year. It will take a few years to show up but it will
be worth it in the end. If Memphis and UTSA bolt yea it’ll suck but I hope the league sticks it out with the remaining 12. Maybe we take some of the Mountain West leftovers like Air Force and UNLV. We are basketball school I think we belong in the ACC. That will probably happen when the grant of rights contract expires and half that league bolts. I’ve been following the Clemson and FSU lawsuits closely I’m not convinced they win (I practice law). We just need to focus on winning now especially in basketball to keep our momentum just sucks because it feels like we’ve disproportionally invested in football and have seen near 0 return except for the Lane years.

Get the win this Saturday, change the momentum, start a win streak, then wait and see where our record is at the half way point of the season.

I know the bandwagon is slowing down and some are ready to jump off, but give it a few of weeks.

This is still early in Tom Herman’s second year and I believe in him.

Just win baby!!!! We played 2 really tough defenses. impossible to tell what our offense can do.

I find it amusing that every year Vegas tells us how many games we're going to win and they've been within one game on either side of that like 18 out of 22 times. Yet once we drop a game or two when we we're supposed to only win six and a half the coaches are horrible, burn down the stadium, expel all the students athletes, and shut the program down because we're just an absolute trash, garbage, and terrible team. Just LOL.

The social is non existent? There is posts multiples times a day from multiple account on multiple platforms.

I have seen the social ad for tickets 30000 times since July.

The Nest itself does a ton to promote to fans.

As for the Uni's, they look cool. In reality FAU probably doesn't have Adidas contract to get multiple new sets every year.

Last week coming off a great game vs a Big 10 team, home opener, vs a well known opponent and FAU fans managed an announced 21k with maybe 13k in the stadium.

That is pathetic and is not on marketing or the team.

People had 9 months to figure out when that game was.

"It was hot!'' We live in South Florida and are used to that. Going to kids youth games in the sun or those of us that sat through many Dolphins games before the Hard Rock renovations.

No noise early in the game from behind the home side. Just a bunch of people imitating Weekend at Bernie's. Not even an attempt a noise or juice.

FAU fans keep saying "we want to progress'' but most do nothing to help get their other than run to the socials to complain.

Some do donate a lot and come every week have every reason to be mad.

But Saturday was disappointing.

I guess FAU fans show up and support if all these things happen:

The team starts 6-0

The opponent is good.

The kick temp is just a touch below room temperature with 0.0 chance of rain.

Marketing shows up to their house to walk through the schedule with them and how to buy tickets because apparently that information is a huge secret.

Also, FAU needs to have new UNI's every weekend like Oregon.
