This might mean the end for Chris or more competition. Good problem to have.

I was thinking the same. Perhaps bad tats and worse dance moves will no longer parade Schnelly field at FAU stadium

Honestly, not a very good look for FAU when the primary subject about the QB situation is bringing in a guy with a number of documented (although never charged) issues to replace the starter from last year who is currently suspended and has several documented off-the-field issues.  Especially when both have assault-type accusations against women in today’s climate.

I agree this doesn’t cost the team much since he is coming in as a walk-on, and I don’t doubt that a guy who had the talent to start in the ACC as a Freshman will have the skills to be a very good to great player in CUSA.  But still - the “Last Chance U” talk will crank back up (and for good reason).

So. Is my thought. People said that two years ago and we won a title and had our highest attendance ever.
People who don't support the program will make some jokes, but that is really it.

People are super quick to forgive and forget in this sport. Just look how lovable Lane has become. Urban Myer will be the head coach of USC next year.

If you go look at each QB's past Francios might be worst.

I do agree with a prior poster - WE NEED TRANSFER RECEIVERS! Otherwise they are all gonna pack the box on D vs. our O again! Praying true freshman coming in and starring (NOT just starting) is a bad bet to me!

And Shane, any idea WHY so many left the program at once??? Something feels quite bad about that to me! I mean, not like they took the transfer to move UP!!!!! Very, very odd to me.

 There is not one reason.

Kyle Davis had off the field issues, I believe Javon got some bad advice about his NFL potential and the other JUCO WR's just did not work out. We have just had some bad luck at that position.

Lane went strong with HS kids this cycle and we will see who qualifies and can contribute.

Who thinks  robison will not return and why?.  I think he will return. If he has the grades, hasn't failed a drug test, and has no charges  pending, he will probably return. But he is needs to check himself before one of those things is valid.

Whats the old adage, nothing is bad publicity. I’ve looked online at reactions to the story and everywhere people knew FAU and knew Lane Kiffin was here. Actually, De’Andre coming here was viewed as him going to a good school and getting a second chance at a quality program. Even the Robison situation and all the bad press it’s not necessarily a bad thing. Exposure is important and when you take on famous P5 players, it makes the news. The huge thing here is that in 2019 everyone knows FAU. Heck we’re really close to being known as a gateway to the pros
