HUGE game with big implications for this season and, if we win, the direction of the program. Marshall will probably be a Top 25 this week, being the first time we played a ranked conference team since 2014, which was also Marshall, ranked 23 at the time and we played them on the road. (We lost that game 35-16). Win, and we have a path to not only host the conference championship in December, but be ranked for the first time in program history. Lose, and Marshall probably take the CUSA title, leaving us to look out for a Boca Bowl berth. This actually has me quite nervous, considering how hard we've been fairing with COVID. Let's see what happens…

BTW, if you have YouTubeTV, you can't watch this game. They just dropped the Fox Sports Regional Networks at the beginning of the month.  Sad day…

Revolution- n. A large amount of change in a short amount of time.   FAU- n. The place where tomorrow begins.

Well we should be surprised by anything they do. We have four games to look at. They have one.

Here’s to hoping this game gets postponed. We will be run off the field with the lack of practice time and player availability.

This game does not mean a ton for the long term.

We will have been practicing for nearly two weeks without about 1/3 of the team.

I do expect us to play well.

I can not emphasize enough how this season is about player development.

If we win it is a plus, but if we do not it is meaningless.

^^ Agreed. To be honest, I don't have the "warm and fuzzies" about thius game – but just having a game at this point is gravy.

I am with Shane. My POV for the rest of the season is what it was before: The victory is the team playing and hitting the field.

I will watch. I will not be angry if FAU loses 59-10. This is a developmental year with many uncertainties because of the virus.

If we play this game we will get destroyed. We have played 1 game which seems like a month ago,  most of the team is not practicing and our offense was anemic at best.  Marshall is our Troy from the Sun Belt.  They beat us and beat us badly when it counts.  No way we upset this team, I would love that to happen but no chance. These are the chances we need to be prepared for to get a win and get ranked,  but we always fall short.  Coastal Carolina beat a ranked opponent and is now ranked before us, tbh very shameful. We need out of CUSA at any cost. We need more games where we have chances to beat a ranked opponent as opposed to wait 4 years for say Marshall to get ranked and then they destroy us. I hope we cancel this game, spare the disappointment,  it will get ugly.
