Pitbull buys naming rights to FIU football stadium - ESPN

They are pushing the 305 thing alot and thats Pitbull's thing. MIAMI subs has its HQ in BOCA so I would hope we would have reached out for a sponsorship by now.

They pushed Office Depot away at FAU for about the same cash. And have had nothing as a result.

I feel like I remember rejecting Office Depot. I don't remember the reason, but these are the things that drive me nuts about our older administrations.

They wanted more money, I drove that from the OD side.

We need Publix

We could’ve stuck with GEO Group before our old admin caved to a bunch of know nothing students that didn’t attend a single football game 

honestly 1.2 mill a yr for naming rights doesn't really move the meter…. we need a big year (ie basketball's Final Four) before we can capitalize and approach a business for rights money…. so until we contend for a conference title, get into the national rankings, etc we're gonna be in a holding pattern….

Office Depot, ADT, and Celsius are all billion dollar brands that could put up some good money for naming rights based out in Boca. We could have gotten free money over the past decade naming the stadium...wasted opportunity

We need to take what we can get rather than get NOTHING for 7 years.
