Rumor had it that Willie Fritz was headed to GT but they ended up hiring their interim HC Brent Key.
Doubt he'd leave Tulane for FAU but New Orleans does suck….

I couldn’t tell if Fritz turned down the Tech job or not. Definitely not a school I’d want to go to, especially if I was in a good place already.

After serving as the run game coordinator since 2020, Seider took on co-offensive coordinator duties following the 2021 season.

Very cool. Makes me feel better if we go that route.

To answer your question on how is he worse than Lane, well there is no comparison. You are comparing one year as a co OC to a guy who was a sole OC on multiple teams and head coach on multiple college teams plus an nfl team.
But we aren't going to get another Lane Kiffin
I'd favor sole OC on better offensive teams as Penn State has never impressed me but some coordinator experience at least is needed. So it's good he has that albeit one season as a co oc

He can get us back on the right track and competing or even winning the aac. Proven guy to rebuild after the debacle of Taggart. I hope he gets some good offensive mind to take over as head coach once he bolts. Assuming he wins which he has every ability to do
