FAU moving forward with stadium plans - "food is on the negotiating table"

I am all for Budweiser…. Miller Lite is way too watered down.

I'd rather drink my own urine than Bud.

Lockhart should be out of the question. there was a plan for this thing on campus, the school needs to commit to it and get it done. None of these other options should even come to question. Gives the school a bad vibe for everyone to say one thing and do something else.  Just get it done fau.

They made a comment about it tonight during the game. They said when they talked to Angelos, he said it was all lined up and they just needed a little bit more financial backing.

Sounds familiar. If the development rights are such a solid thing, why hasn't there been an announcement yet? With the Bailout package I thought stocks were going back up and people were getting a little more comfortable about deals like this… that is to say more comfortable than they were a month or two ago.

I saw that. It got me thinking that what they should do is take the slot for one of the FAU commercials that they play during the games and make a pitch about the stadium and the possibility to secure naming rights. It might just get some people interesting in throwing in some money. It is definitely worth a try.

The development rights are still not the "best" option so they are holding out until the eleventh hour to ink that deal. IF they are able to pull a rabbit and get a big donor, they we won't have to sell our souls with the development deal. It's like having a fat chick wanting to go home with you at the bar, but it's only 12:30 so you know you've got another hour and a half to get a better option…you don't want to commit too early because some smoking chick with loose morals could hit you up at last call.

We just need a smoking chick to show up

Speaking of new commercials…. I hope we get some new ones pretty soon… they're kinda lame right now.

Well if this financing thing goes for FAU like most of the nights at bar that I have spent with you that you are referring to above….FAU get ready to sell your souls with the development deal.  ;D

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.
