We just had a prime time story on CNBC and they showed our stadium for at least a 30 second story.  They said that the sponsor was in bad taste, however the CEO of GEO is an alum and is giving 6 Million to FAU over 12 Years.  Hey, might be somewhat bad press, but I love it!

Maybe in a couple of months nobody will care, however right now we will take the press.  At least our program is on the up and up and we are not doing anything illegal like other teams in the NCAA ;)

+1  I am surprised by the coverage…the press doesn't seem to care that the President and Congress doesn't want to do a budget…but they care about this!  Twisted world we live in.

The fact that this is even STILL a news story to some people is so dumb.  There are actual important things that can be reported on rather than an alum of a local college giving the school a gift.

Can we stop with all this fake outrage over something nobody really cares about already?  That's what annoys me most of all.  It's all so phony.  It's a nothing story.  Basically nobody cares what FAU names their stadium and very few people ACTUALLY care about the treatment of prisoners.  There is a reason that the one group protesting this is some small-time organization with a Facebook petition with a minimal amount of signatures…Nobody cares!  But this gets publicity because it makes for a funny line at the end of a news report.  Oh well.  The story will fade away soon enough.
