I'm wondering could Boca Raton make a bid to have a expansion team, and have them play in our stadium?

They also interviewed Jake Steinfeld who just gushed about the crowd, the excitement and the stadium!

They said a crowd about 8,000. That is pretty good for a professional sport that south Florida doesn't have.

Stadium looked great on tv, loved seeing that FAU on the east stands where the fans sat - nobody sat on "home" west side or either end zone so it would look better for tv. But guys, 8K with no local pro involvement in the league was great and let's face it, the game mvp gets a $1500 check, not big time dollars in this sport yet!

Here is a link to an article about just that. Based upon attendances at MLL games I think FAU/Boca/Palm Beach County just passed the audition with flying colors!

Based on this, if we really had 8K there toonight, that would be third in the league in average attendance. Not bad for NO LOCAL PRO TEAM - YET!
