All I know is that if a stadium is not in place by 2010 this program is going to take a HUGE step backward. FIU will move ahead of FAU in a hurry.

I don't want to see this, but I think it is a realistic possibility.

the thing that bothers me is that they have been "talking" about this and telling recruits this for years…and then he goes and makes these PUBLIC statements again - which nullifies what was said before…it keeps shrinking in the realm of spoken word (possibility) - which is all you can bank ANYTHING on…

figure out what you are going to do, then tell people THAT precisley, and leave the rest out…

blah blah blah will get you lit up on the recuriting trail really fast from a reputation standpoint…

this kids want you to make good on your word to them!  we have recruits now that are EXPECTING to play thier junior and senior year in a 30k stadium that looks like what has been promised…

AND we the fans would like it as well

Ok then you can order your season tickets for 2011, but Ill be in that stadium in 2010 even if its in my lawn chair as bulldozers work around me!

That might be the only way that you will be in an on-campus stadium in 2010.

Is the current version of the stadium out of the picture?  At least the AD is determined to build something and even if it is 20K it is better then the Lock.  I am sure it will all work out.

I think we're jumping from point a (which is stadium in 2010) to point f (which is stadium 201?) too quickly. Granted, what Angelos said is very disheartening not just to potential recruits but to us fans, but it kind of sounds like some ppl are jumping ship at the first sign of a leak. As HS says, we have to keep the faith. I firmly believe the stadium will be there by 2010 despite whats currently happening.
