New stadium drawings from Ted's blog

That looks like Grand Cayman...where is Seaside FL? It would be very nice to incorporate our tropical location into it more

Thats a really good idea.  Use the colonnade treatments, corrugated metal, light colors.

Very good idea.  Email the University Architect about that..I know they have an FAU style they are going for, but this would really pop.

I did! Maybe you guys could reinforce it with emails of your own? Let them know you support that idea for a stadium fascade!

I like the renderings, but I feel they need to add more club seats or luxury boxes.

I believe Seaside is between Panama City & Destin in the Panhandle & beautiful place.

I think that rendering is awesome!  I love the boardwalk and the beach setup, it fits with our school and the whole "football in paradise" theme.  They could do a lot of cool things with that setup.  But some of the palm trees need to go though, they look out of place.

They need to stick a couple of hot tubs on the boardwalk and fill them with coeds.

I'll see your hot tubs and raise you a zero entry pool and sun deck at the south endzone.  Its the classic horseshoe with a twist.  We will be the only team with a lifeguard on duty.

When our team wins they can go jump in the pool with the co-eds that are "watching" the game from their floats.  Think Spring Break + Football.

Heh, we won't get the pool on the stadium but the pool will be across the street from it!

I am not impressed. Those 2 open areas of palm trees and the little beach thing look terrible.

The Orange Bowl used to have palm trees on either side of the score board…..always thought it was pretty cool

Tampa Stadium has palm trees at both endzones as well as fake house/store fronts on the concession stands to make it feel like Key West. FAU needs a scaled down version of this stadium.
