I agree with Canadian. Nothing is worse than somebody saying, "I know something" or "I heard something, but I can't tell you what it is."

Why say anything at all then?? Only to be able to say after the fact, "Hey I had the inside scoop the whole time."

Maybe this is all a bluff by fl-owl. Saying "I have the inside scoop but can't tell" with knowing only little more than the rest of us. We all know something is going on and I am not sure that any of us knows the truth. Could be wrong, but just a possibility.

I did get some information a while ago, (Turns out it was for the design company) that my source wanted kept quiet. I wanted to pass along the information that SOMETHING was in the works, but couldnt really go into the details.

IMHO knowing that something is going on is better then wondering if FAU is doing anything.

The easy answer? If you dont want to know possible rumors concerning sponsorsship or anything involving the stadium, then you need to avoid posts that have that in the title or imply it. Otherwise take everything with a grain (or sometims a pound) of salt, and let your imagination run wild.  ;D

first of all, i never said any of this…secondly, everyone is coming to their own conclusions…thirdly, if you haven't figured out that i don't say anything for my own "glory" by now, you don't know me as a person.

It's far better off to just say nothing and let all of this "run wild though the rumor mill" that to be accused of being self serving by trying to share (what is ethically possible) on a topic some consider/require to be confidential at heart for obvious reasons.

So, that's what i am doing from this point forward.

You are right, I do not know you as a person and you shouldn't take this as any type of personal attack. Just an obersavation about the situation. When you drop hints like you have the inside scoop but then neglect to give more information you have to expect some sort of discussion about that. Really I don't care because time will tell and we might just all be wrong with our speculations.

2. Duty
